At the September meeting of the Parish Council concerns over the number of Car Transporters coming through the village were raised. Both the Clerk and Borough Councillor Towler have spoken to BCA and they have confirmed that they have spoken to the third-party companies they use to remind them that access to the site is via the A6 not through the village. If residents see movements continuing, please try and take a photo and share with the Clerk.
On 5th September, the Parish Council held its first Parish Surgery. This was an opportunity for residents to meet Councillors informally and share local concerns. 3 residents met with Cllr Thompson and Cllr Wiggins, the following areas were explored:
- Neighbourhood Development Plan update
- Speculative building within the village
- Consideration of speed humps in Keysoe Road/other village entrances
- Use of CIL funding
- Fencing at the reservoir
